Wilmington Manor Elementary School

Just a friendly reminder that all orders for Joe Corbi pizza must be turned in no later than Friday, November 30th.  The orders will be delivered to school on Wednesday, December 12 by 11:30 AM.  PTA volunteers will be distributing orders from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  Because these products are items that need to be refridgerated, they must be picked up between these hours.  We do not have storage space here to keep unclaimed orders.  As such, anything not picked up, will be donated to a food shelter by our PTA.  If interested in volunteering to assist in the distribution of these orders, please contact our PTA.  You can leave a message for them in the main office.  (323-2901)

Our Winter Concert is scheduled for Monday, December 10th starting at 6:30PM at William Penn High School.  Our Band and Chorus Director, Jody Garcia, has worked hard with our students preparing for this concert.  We are sure that you will be pleased with the efforts of our students and entertained with the variety of selections performed.

Come join us at the Hares Corner McDonald’s on Thursday, December 6th between 4:30 – 7:30 PM.  Wilmington Manor Staff will be there assisting the McDonald’s employees and greeting Wilmington Manor families.  Wilmington Manor PTA will receive a portion of funds earned that night.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Winter Carnival moved from Thursday, Jan. 17th to Friday, Jan. 18th from 6:30 – 8:30PM.  More information will be forthcoming.

The PTA decided to sell Joe Corbi products for our annual school fundraiser this year.  Packets went home with students earlier this week.  If you did not receive a packet, or need another one, extras are in the main office.

Collection envelopes are due back to school no later than November 30th.

Delivery date will be Dec. 14th.  Since these products need refrigeration, you will need to be able to pick up your order between 3:00 – 6:30.  If you do not show up, products will be donated to a local food bank.

We have abbreviated days scheduled for November 6, 7, 8, and 9 for parent conferences.  Students will be dismissed each day at 12:42.  Lunch will be served each day prior to student dismissal.

Thursday, November 8th, the Scholastic Book Fair will be open until 7:00 PM in our school Library.
